4thFEST Independence Day Celebration

Join the City of Bedford this July 4, as we celebrate Independence Day. This 4thFEST will feature free live musical entertainment, a variety of themed family friendly activities, a birthday themed classic car show, yummy festival food and of course, the spectacular fireworks when the sun goes down.

While supplies last, every visitor that brings a can/box food item for the Mayors Hunger Challenge gets a prize !

When the sun goes down the massive fireworks extravaganza will light up the night sky.

Parking and shuttle are available for $5 (Free for children 3 and under) at pennington Field, 1501 Central drive. The last shuttle to the event will leave PENNINGTON FIELD AT 9:30pm.
THERE IS NO ONSITE PARKING!

Admission to 4thFEST is free. Feel free to bring  lawn chairs, blankets, coolers and non-alcoholic beverages (No glass containers). Beer will be sold on location.

The fireworks go off at 10:00PM from the property located at 1951 L. Don Dodson, however, there will be NO public viewing from this area.

Bedford, Texas is strategically located in the metroplex between Dallas and Fort Worth. The 4thFEST Independence Day Celebration is located in front of the Library and Old Bedford School.

Where is handicapped parking?

Handicapped parking is available at the Bedford Public Library on a VERY limited basis and is first come first serve. A handicap license plate or placard is required. Access to this lot will be located at the Forest Ridge Dr. entrance to the Bedford Public Library. 

What can we bring?

Lawn chairs, blankets, coolers, & non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. Beer will be available for purchase.

How much does 4thFEST cost?

Admission to 4thFEST is free; however some activities have a fee.

The fireworks go off at 10:00PM from the property located at 1951 L. Don Dodson. There is no public viewing from this area. Please join us for the festivities at the Library/Old Bedford School property on the corner of Forest Ridge Dr and Bedford Rd.

What type of road closure occur because of July 4?

Limited access to Bedford Rd (between Forest Ridge and Central) and L. Don Dodson (between Parkwood and Forest Ridge) will be available the evening of July 4. Please choose alternate routes. Parkwood and Bilger Rd. will be closed to vehicular traffic all day July 4.

When does the live music begin?

The live music begins at 5:00PM and continues until the fireworks at 10PM.

How much is InflataFUN?

InflataFun cost $15 for an all day wristband or you can buy tickets and pay per activity.

What is InflataFUN?

InflataFUN is an inflatable activity area with bounce houses, slides and obstacle course for all ages.

What type of food is available?

Food is available to purchase. There is a wide variety of carnival type foods.

When does the car show begin?

The D&D Rockin’ Rod's Car Show begins at 6:00PM and ends at 9:00PM. The awards ceremony is held at 8PM.
