Important Dates to Remember
  • January 18, 2017 - First Day to File for Place on Ballot

    Click here for a copy of the Candidate Packet.  A hard copy of the packet is available at City Hall.

  • February 17, 2017 - Last Day to File for Place on Ballot

  • April 6, 2017 – Last Day to Register to Vote

  • April 20, 2017 - Last day to receive application delivered in person for a ballot to be voted by mail.

  • April 24, 2017 to May 2, 2017 - Early Voting
    The main early voting location in Bedford is the Public Library at 2424 Forest Ridge Drive.

  • April 25, 2017 - Last day to receive application by mail for a ballot to be voted by mail.

  • May 06, 2017 Election Day
    Voting will only take place at the Pat May Center at 1849 Central Drive.

Voter ID Requirements

Politcial Sign Regulations

The City of Bedford passed regulations for political signs that went into effect September 1, 2016. These include regulations on political signs on any public property that serves as a polling place. Click here for more information.
