Father/Daughter and Mother/Son Valentine's Day Dance 2014

Where: BRAC (Boys Ranch Activity Center)
Cost: $18.00 per couple | $10.00 per person

Come join us for an evening of fun and dancing at the 16th annual Valentine's Dance! Fee includes dance admission, refreshments, a flower and a picture to commemorate the special occasion. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Boys Ranch Activity Center by February 8. Tickets may not be purchased at the door. Easter Egg Celebration 2014

Bring your family and join your neighbors and friends! Pre-registration is required. $5 per child. Registration fee includes an arts & craft project, a picture with the Easter Bunny, a snack and an Easter egg hunt that will include over 10,000 eggs!

Twilight Thursdays Concert Series 2013

Brought to you by Arts Council Northeast & the City of Bedford

Whether you like Rock & Roll, Jazz, Motown, Oldies or Rhythm & Blues "Twilight Thursdays" has a concert for you, thanks to a free eclectic concert series staged by the City of Bedford.

The Twilight Thursdays series begins at 7:00 p.m. each Thursday at the Old Bedford School's south Lawn. All of the Events are general admission, and no reservations or tickets are required. This free concert series is sponsored by the Bedford Hotel Association.

Halloween FEST 2013

Location: Boys Ranch Activity Center

Bring the entire family to the Boys Ranch Activity Center for a fun filled safe Halloween treat! Have your face painted, enjoy bounce houses and carnival games. Make slime and other arts and crafts. Trick or treat at candy stations. Concessions will be available. The cost is a canned good per person or a donation to the Tarrant County Food Bank.

Christmas Tree Lighting 2013

Time: 4 p.m.
Location: Old Bedford School

The City of Bedford Christmas Tree Lighting will be held on Friday, November 30 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. The event will kick off at the new Bedford Library at 4 p.m. with holiday cookie decorating and the movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Then make your way to the Old Bedford School for crafts, letters to Santa, singing, stories, refreshments, a visit from Ol' Saint Nick and much more! Pictures will be available for purchase of $5. Santa will arrive at 6:00 p.m. with the lighting following. All parking will be at the new Bedford Library. A hay ride will be available to take you to the Old Bedford School. Holiday Decorating Contest 2013

Are you the Clark Griswald of your neighborhood and are looking for the recognition that you deserve? Whether you decorate for the holidays every year or plan to start this year, then sign up for the second annual Bedford Holiday Decorating Contest.

Winners will be determined by popular vote. Contest participants are not limited to any theme or decorating specifications. Participation in the contest does NOT exempt a location from any City of Bedford Codes and Ordinances.
