Membership

The Cultural Arts Advisory Board consists of five members as follows of the public at large. Members serve two-year terms. A Council member and the City Manager or their designee serves as ex-officio members.

Purpose

The purpose of the cultural arts advisory board is to serve as an advisory body to the city council to grow and enhance public art and cultural arts events and programming throughout the City of Bedford. The board will support arts and culture in Bedford by encouraging arts/cultural related communication and awareness, providing feedback to the Cultural Arts Manager on public art projects, participating in City cultural arts events, and assisting in the selection of winning designs for various public art contests.
