What is the Musical Collaboration Celebration? 

This event will celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Sparkling Ice Musical Pocket Playground, located on the Old Bedford School property. The playground was donated in partnership with the Sparkling Ice 'Cheers to You' Town Beautification Project in 2020. 

Is there an entrance fee for the Musical Collaboration Celebration? 

There is not a charge to attend the event. Vendors and food trucks will have items for sale.  

Is this event family friendly? 

ABSOLUTELY! The event will feature music for all ages, food trucks, vendors, bounce houses, children's craft area, and more!

Are masks required? 

Masks are not required at the event, but guests are still encouraged to wear them. We also ask that you continue to use social distancing measures and to stay home if you are sick or think you might be. 

Is this a rain or shine event? 

No. The event will be canceled in the event of inclement weather. 

Does it cost to park? 

No, there is free parking at the Bedford Public Library. Parking includes overflow parking on the grass. There is no onsite parking. Please do not park in the fire lane. 

Will there be alcohol for sale?

Yes. Individuals 21 years of age or older can buy beer or wine. 

What alcohol is available?

Turning Point-Quencher: Glacier Frost (16 oz., Gose), Turning Point-You'll Never Drink Alone (16 oz, Irish Red), Turning Point-$Texas (16 oz, NEIPA), Wild Acre-Mondlift (12 oz, Oktoberfest), Karbach-Ranch Water (12 oz, Hard Seltzer), Michelob Ultra (12 oz, Light). Red and white wine will also be available. (Price and availability is subject to change.)

Will IDs be checked? 

Yes, individuals wanting an alcoholic beverage will have to show a valid driver’s license or state issued ID. 

Are there free beer or wine samples? 

There is no free beer or wine samples. 

What time will you stop serving alcohol? 

Last call will be at 8 p.m. 

Are there non-alcoholic beverages? 

Water and sodas will be available for purchase from food vendors. Water is also available at the beer tent. 

Will cash or credit cards be accepted? 

Both cash and credit cards will be accepted. Food trucks are not required to take a credit card. 

Is the site wheelchair accessible? 

Most of the event will be on grass but there will be an area for wheelchairs users to be dropped off. There is no handicap parking onsite. 

Where is the Uber/Lyft drop-off? 

The Uber/Lyft drop-off is at 1805 L Don Dodson Dr, Bedford, TX 76021 (Bedford City Hall, Building C). This location is a short walk away, but will allow your driver to safely drop you off and can be used for pick up, as well.  

Can I bring my pet? 

Yes, but the pet must be leashed. 

Where should I go if I lose my child? 

Please go to the City of Bedford tent located next to the stage. 

Are there ATMs onsite? 

No. There are several banks on Central with ATMs and the Valero gas station on Bedford Road and Forest Ridge Drive has an ATM. 

Is there live music? 

Three bands will be playing this year:

  • 3 to 4:30 p.m. - Karate Dance Party (Children's Entertainment) 
  • 5 to 6:30 p.m. - Vocal Trash 
  • 7 to 9 p.m. - ONSTAGE in Bedford 

Are lawn chairs and blankets allowed? 

Yes, but please be respectful of others. Chairs should be low to the ground and have backs at shoulder height. Keep in mind that unless otherwise noted, this is “festival viewing” with no reserved seating and patrons may be standing in front of you during a performance. We want everyone to enjoy the concerts and have a great time. Be respectful of people around you and please share your space, get to know your neighbors, and make room for others. Please leave tents at home.

Is smoking allowed? 

Smoking and vaping are allowed in the designated smoking area on the right side of the building.
