Current Bids

Bid solicitations are posted on the City’s Bid Postings webpage and Demandstar. All City of Bedford bidders are highly encouraged to register with Demandstar in order to receive the bid / proposal notifications, messages and any subsequent addenda that are issued.

Effective March 1, 2023, the City of Bedford will accept electronic bid and proposal submissions through Demandstar.  The City will also still accept physical bid/proposal packets as well.  We do encourage the use of Demandstar to ensure prompt delivery of bids and proposals.  Please contact the City's Purchasing Manager if you need help using the Demandstar platform.  

Bid Award and Status Information

Below is information related to recently closed bids and the status of their award.  The bids that appear here are all ongoing and active and any prohibitions on communication with anyone other than the Purchasing Manger are still applicable.  

Bids/Proposals in Review:

• 2023-29: RFQ for Operations of Generations Park Ball Field Complex
  • Evaluation of proposals - approximate completion mid-March 2023
• 2022-14: RFQ for Design Services - Police Jail Remodel
  • Negotiations with selected vendor ongoing.
• 2022-28: RFQ for Design Services - Animal Services Center
  • Negotiations with selected vendor ongoing.

The closed bids include bid tabulations or supplemental documents, such as vendor submissions. 

Milestone updates will be provided to the above bids/proposals until award of contract. Click the bid link and scroll for information about the selected bid.  Once the contract is awarded, the bids/proposal will be removed from the list.  

Bid documents will be made publicly available once the bid / proposal process has closed and as ascribed by State law and public information statutes.

Vendor Registration

In order to receive notification of all City of Bedford bid or proposal solicitations, we request that you register with Demandstar. Prospective bidders may view our current bids as follows:

• If you are a current member of Demandstar please login and search for the City of Bedford bid page.
• If you are not currently a member of Demandstar, you must register before you are able to view the City of Bedford’s current bids. Please note that it can take 24 - 48 hours to verify an account before it's active.
