Local Law Enforcement Officials and Business Leaders Discuss the Importance of Early Education

City of Bedford, HEB ISD and the Council for a Strong America will be participating in a roundtable conversation to discuss how high-quality Pre-K has an effect on decreasing future crime and a positive impact on the future workforce. Council for a Strong America is a bipartisan nonprofit that unites five organizations comprised of law enforcement leaders, business executives, retired generals and admirals, pastors, and athletes who promote solutions that ensure the next generation of Americans will be citizen-ready. Immediately following the press event, the speakers will join students for reading time and additional photos. Local Law Enforcement Officials and Business Leaders Discuss the Importance of Early Education 

Bedford, TX – Council for a Strong America is a bipartisan nonprofit that unites five organizations comprised of law enforcement leaders, business executives, retired generals and admirals, pastors, and athletes who promote solutions that ensure our next generation of Americans will be citizen-ready. One priority for the members is high-quality Pre-K, which has been proven to increase educational success and high school graduation rates.

Members from the law enforcement organization, Fight Crime: Invest in Kids will hold a roundtable discussion at the Spring Garden Elementary to discuss the importance of high-quality Pre-K.

Immediately following the press event, the speakers will join students for reading time and additional photos.  The other particulars of the event are below.
