[ARCHIVED] Month-Long Harwood Lane Closures to Begin April 5

Harwood Road Lane Closures

Starting Monday, April 5, there will be shifting lane closures on Harwood Road, as part of the Harwood Water Line project. For the next month, traffic will be reduced to one lane on Harwood, between Orchard Breeze and Oak Valley Drive, with additional lane closures at the Forest Ridge intersection. There will be traffic delays so please avoid the area, if possible.

The waterline project will improve service to the neighboring subdivisions and Generations Park, as well as increasing nearby fire hydrant pressure. When the waterline project is complete, the City will be able to repave Hardwood Road, from Bedfordshire to the western Bedford border.
