Senior events and programs will also return around the same time, with most activities at Old Bedford School and the Public Library. Seniors can look forward to a regular dance night at the Library, which is in the works. More details to come at

The public is now able to rent park pavilions and the Roy Savage Pool online starting Monday, May 17 at For questions, please email

The City is planning a fireworks display. However, there will not be the typical in-person events and entertainment that comprise Bedford’s annual Fourth Fest.

The City will not hold the annual BBQ and Blues Fest this year. Instead, City officials will take the extra the extra time that’s needed to fully reimagine and create a new signature event for the community. Over the next year, there will need to be multiple discussions with City Council and the time necessary for planning and securing great entertainment and vendors. The Council plans to host the City’s future signature event in 2022 at the perfect venue, the new Generations Park.
