Your contractor should be registered with the City and obtain required permits BEFORE work begins. Check that your contractor obtained a permit and later completed the required final inspection at https://bedfordtx.gov/contractors.

With last night’s storms, the potential of contractors attempting to take advantage of residents will likely increase. If you encounter a solicitor at your front door, they must be wearing a City of Bedford-issued solicitor traffic safety vest and a visible solicitor permit. Solicitor permits are processed and issued by the Police Department’s Public Service Officers.
