The Central Park Dream Court is officially open! Nancy Lieberman Charities, in partnership with Sport Court, recently teamed up with the City of Bedford and Covenant Church in Colleyville to provide this basketball court for the community. The court will serve as a safe place for youth to play ball, practice teamwork, make friends, and build relationships with law enforcement.
Following Tuesday's ribbon cutting, children in attendance were able to shoot hoops with Basketball Hall-of-Famer Nancy Lieberman, Bedford Police Officers, and Mayor Boyter!
The Central Park Dream Court (1200 Central Dr.) features a high-performance PowerGame™ surface that will help keep the court playable in high temperatures and has shock absorption to reduce impact on players’ joints. Since the beginning of the Dream Courts program in 2010, over 100 courts have been installed across the U.S to make basketball more accessible to children and provide an environment to play.
