[ARCHIVED] Start Your Home Garden with a Go N' Grow Garden Kit

Interested in having your own garden but don’t know where to start? Look no further! Rooted In is offering Go N’ Grow garden kits, featuring home harvest edible plants, for $80 each. Each boxed garden comes with 24 starter plants, containing rosemary, pineapple mint, basil, garlic chives, and more. Gardens can be purchased online before Tuesday, April 5, or while supplies last. All gardens can be picked up at Bedford Public Works (1813 Reliance Pkwy) between 8 and 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 9. Purchase a Home Harvest Edible Garden online.

Virtual Gardening Classes

In addition, the Tarrant Regional Water District is offering two virtual classes this month on native plants and edible landscapes. By attending the edible landscapes class, Tarrant County residents can receive a $25 rebate on your Go N' Grow garden kit.

Tough Texas Native Plants – Tuesday, March 29 at 6 p.m.

North Texas is home to thousands of beautiful flowers, grasses, bushes, and trees that are perfectly adapted to live with little to no care. In this class, attendees will learn the benefits of native plants, principles of landscape design, how to choose and find native plants for your yard, and more. Register online.

Edible Landscapes – Thursday, March 31 at 6 p.m.

Edible landscapes are one of the most popular new gardening trends. In this class, learn about the different types of plants that can be used in an edible landscape, how to create different edible gardens, and how to care and harvest a garden. After registering for this class, please check your email for additional information on receiving a rebate on a Go N’ Grow Home Harvest Edible Garden kit. Register online
