Animal Shelter to Reduce Lobby Hours text with photo of the shelter

Due to temporary staffing shortages, the Animal Shelter lobby will have reduced lobby hours of 1 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The shelter will have the same lobby hours on Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Animal Services staff are available outside of the lobby hours by appointment for anyone wanting to see a specific adoptable animal or to surrender an animal. To make an appointment, please call the Animal Shelter 817-952-2191 during normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

As always, for any urgent animal-related issue, please call 817-952-2191 during normal business hours or 817-952-2127 (Police Department Dispatch) outside of normal business hours.
