[ARCHIVED] Bark Park Weekly Maintenance

Bark Park Weekly Maintenance

Starting Wednesday, February 21, 2018 the Bedford Bark Park will be closed every Wednesday morning from 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. for weekly routine maintenance.

This weekly routine maintenance will allow our Parks staff the opportunity to complete safety checks, remove trash, and mow as well as start a new turf management program.

Parks staff believes this weekly closure will will not only provide residents the quality of care they are used to, but also help provide our furry, 4-legged citizens a cleaner, safer place to play. For more information please call the Bedford Parks department at 817-952-2303.

Pet waste is not only smelly and unsightly, but it is a health risk to pets and people, and creates water quality issues too. When walking your dog, always carry a plastic baggie to scoop up the waste. Dispose of sealed baggies in the trash. Clean up dog waste in your yard at least once a week, and either flush it down the toilet or dispose of it in the trash. Click here for more tips.
