The City of Bedford Municipal Court is accepting a donation of $100 in new backpacks as an alternative to help clear outstanding warrants. In exchange, Municipal Court will give a $100 credit toward the defendant’s balance and removal of warrant status with 30 days to make their next payment.

Donations must be dropped off at Municipal Court, 2000 Forest Ridge Dr., between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. All new backpacks (with tags still on) must include the original purchase receipt, showing at least $100 was spent. Backpacks will be donated to HEB ISD and donations will be accepted through Friday, August 5. For additional information, call 817-952-2152. Please note, the City reserves the right to refuse donations of items that are unacceptable for student use.
