[ARCHIVED] Bedford Road Repaving to Begin November 14

photo of Bedford Road with text saying Bedford Road Repaving Update

Bedford Road is getting repaved! Beginning Monday, November 14, crews will start milling operations (taking off the top layer of the roadway) along Bedford Road from SH 183 to Brown Trail. Once all lanes are milled, crews will repave this section the week of November 21, weather permitting.

While work is ongoing, there will be various lane closures, but traffic will be able to pass through the area. If possible, drivers can take an alternative route to avoid any delays. If you cannot avoid the area, PLEASE take it slow and go easy on your tires.

If you’re wondering about the other portion of Bedford Road (from SH 183 to Central Drive), don’t worry! This section of Bedford Road will be repaved in early spring 2023. When additional details on repaving are available, they will be shared on all City communication channels.
