Some BIG changes are coming to the McDonald’s across from Pennington Field (2100 Central Park Blvd.)! Next March, the existing McDonald’s will be demolished and a new one will be built in its place, complete with two drive-thru lanes, reconfigured parking lot, and increased landscaping. In the new restaurant, there won’t be a “Playland” to make room for a larger lobby to help serve more customers.
McDonald’s representatives told the City they are hoping complete the demo and
rebuild within approximately 120 to 140 days of starting, weather depending. During this time, the employees at that location will be temporarily working at other locations.
