Calling all parents! The Hurst Euless Bedford HEB Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for its 2024 Youth in Government program. The program was developed by the Chamber to engage young people in city government while providing multiple scholarships to deserving participants. It is held in partnership with the cities of Bedford, Euless, and Hurst.

The program will meet twice a month on Monday nights between January and April. Each session is 1.5 hours long and covers a variety of topics such as the importance of voting and elections, police and fire department services, potential career fields, community service, and much more.

Youth in Government applicants must be a junior or senior in high school by January 2 and live in Bedford, Euless, or Hurst. However, students do not need to be enrolled in HEB ISD. Learn more and complete the online application by December 8.
