We have some new hardware for City Hall! Bedford’s Communications Division recently won five awards for City produced videos at the annual Texas Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (TATOA) conference in Dallas. The City took home: 

• First Place: Parks & Recreation - First with Mayor Mike
• Second Place: Magazine Format Series - Beyond the Fence
• Second Place: Use of Humor - First with Mayor Mike
• Award of Merit: Community Event Coverage - AAPI Festival
• Award of Merit: Parks and Recreation – Beyond the Fence: History Lives On

This is the most recognitions the City has received by TATOA, which honors excellence in video programming. This year alone, there were over 400 award entries, a record-breaking year for the organization.
