  2. Pots in Small Spots: FREE Container Gardening Class

    March 25, 2019, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Old Library Building

    Gardening in containers is a great way to grow your horticulture skills! If you have a small yard or patio that needs a pop of ornamental color, are frustrated with the poor soils on your property, or just simply don’t have the space to grow your fruits and veggies, then give container gardening a try. This course is such a fun way to put the Spiller, Filler and Thriller back in your life and your landscape. You won’t be able to contain yourself!

    Kids, ages 8 & up, can participate in a hands-on STEM activity every Monday night. Experiment with robotics, coding, & circuits using Spheros, littleBits, Ozobots, & more.     In collaboration with the Bedford Cultural Commission, the City of Bedford presents ArtsFest, a family friendly event to promote and celebrate the arts in Bedford. This festival will feature artists, musicians and performers who contribute to the vibrant heritage of the North Texas region. Enjoy an assortment of food trucks, craft beers, wine, musical entertainers and art of all shapes and sizes at the historic Boys Ranch Park. In years past, the city has seen a tremendous outpouring of residents and guests supporting this endeavor and we hope to continue with the tradition. In the heart of the city’s cultural district, the seventh annual Bedford ArtsFest will take place March 30, 2019 at the Bedford Boys Ranch Park.
