Monica Maldonado is a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant with Sleep Wise Consulting, which has helped over 1500 families of newborns, infants, toddlers, and school-aged children become better sleepers. This presentation will include strategies, tips, and tricks for creating successful bedtime routines and transforming families from exhausted to refreshed. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.

Step back into a time of knights, princesses, fairies, and more at the 2nd Annual Bedford Medieval Faire & Market. The event will bring the best of the medieval world together for a family-friendly free showcase. There will be vendors that specialize in everything from actual medieval coins, amazing leather works, chain jewelry, an apothecary of oils, and more. There will also be performances from world-class talents with fairies, knights, medieval combat, just to name a few.
Period costumes are encouraged! No weapons, please.

Heart of Texas Therapy Dogs encourage children to read by providing a non-judgmental listener. Our furry listeners enjoy lying next to the reader and being read to; they won't laugh if a child stumbles over a word. This relationship between child and dog enables the child to gain a positive attitude about reading, improve reading skills, and build confidence.

Bedford residents may visit the Arlington Landfill on the fourth Saturday of every month from February to November to dispose of bulk waste at no charge. No charge service is limited to individual homeowner only, waste delivered in cars or pickups or 8’ long trailers, larger loads or commercial business loads will be charged a fee. Service does not include the disposal of Hazardous Waste. There will be a charge of $25 per E-Waste item (TV’s, Computers, printers, DVD players, etc.)

Dispose of Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste properly. Crud Cruiser mobile collection trailers come to Bedford to collect household hazardous waste, however, the capacity of the Crud Cruiser is limited, so events may end earlier than advertised. Events may also be canceled in the event of rain. In either case, please do not leave household hazardous waste and chemicals in the parking lot.

Earning an MBA from Dallas Baptist University, she taught as an adjunct professor in the undergraduate business program.
